Let me give a great big shout out to Crossway Books. I am one of their humble authors. Since I’m part of their review program – my blog used to be big and I used to be cool – they have sent me many books over the years. However, I hadn’t requested or received any books for seven or eight years.

Recently, I got an email from Crossway asking if I would like to review any books. I noticed the Reformed Systematic Theology series and specifically requested volume four. Although the form only had a line to request one, I cheekily added in parentheses after I wrote “Reformed Systematic Theology Volume 4” that I would also like volumes one, two, and three. I wasn’t sure if I would get any of them as I have been out of vogue for a while.

To my surprise, I just got a box with all of them in it. I can’t wait to review them! I haven’t been this excited since I got my Cook Bros. BMX bike under the Christmas tree in 1981.
