Check out the latest blog at Credo Courses: The Ultimate List of Christian Apologetics Podcasts
Eventually the Credo Courses blog (done by Ted Paul) will have additional information for each podcasts available (maybe even sortable). This will include things like start date, # of episodes, host(s), a short description, etc.
Check out the blog at Credo Courses and comment to let us know if we missed any of your favorites.
Theology Unplugged
I would be remiss if I didn’t give a shoutout to to my very own Theology Unplugged (the second greatest theology podcast/broadcast on the web!). On this podcast/broadcast we focus presenting theology in a casual manner. It isn’t a sermon or lecture. It’s just fellow Christians sitting around talking theology. The most recent series is titled “What is the Biggest Problem in the Church Today.” If you haven’t checked it out you can subscribe to Theology Unplugged on iTunes. If you are local, you can listen to it on Saturdays at 1pm on BOTT Radio (800 AM or 95.1 FM).
The Current State of Christian Radio vs. Podcasts
I talked to my long-time friend Greg Cromartie the other day. He is a veteran in radio editing for Christian radio. He used to edit and host with me Theology Unplugged. There is no better source that I know of to get the “beat” on the current state on Christian radio and Podcasting. He said that Christian radio is on its way out. Podcast are the way to go. Over the years, the decline in radio is becoming more evident and there is a reality that it will be a thing of the past (though not completely nor immediate). His encouragement to all radio broadcasts is to make the transition to podcasting.
Podcasting is the way to go. Right now, iTunes is the best place to go. But I am sure that this will soon change. Things are so dynamic right now, you need a staff member who is completely devoted to evaluating the new trends so that we can keep up on where things are going.
This is exhausting…
But this list is the way to go!
