Now-that-im-a-ChristianI am really excited to announce my new book Now that I’m a Christian published by Crossway. It has been released as of this week!

It is a book that one can (hopefully) hand out to new believers and use in discipleship circles and small groups. There are 10 chapters, 5 on orthodoxy (what every Christian believes) and 5 on orthopraxy (what every Christian does). I have tried to only include the essentials on each, that way any evangelically minded church can hand this out to their members and be confident that the main things have remained the main things.

Purchase from Amazon

Purchase from Crossway

Purchase from Credo House (this option does support Credo House the most)

If you could review this on Amazon ASAP (esp if you get the Kindle version), I would be so grateful (especially if it is a good review!).

Also, I would be in your debt if you would write a review about this on your blog (I think I can get a copy sent to you, just let me know) or shout it out through Twitter.

Pastors, buy in bulk (!) and hand out to your congregation.

      Best of luck with the book, Michael!

      Had I written it, it would have had on the first page;

      “You’re free now…in Christ!
      Now that you don’t have to do anything…what do you want to do?”

      And then 250 blank pages…so it would look like one of those other Christian ‘how-to’ books…at least on the outside.

    • I have the Kindle edition of this book, and I recommend it to everyone! This is foundational, practical, apologetic, pragmatic, and solid advice on how to recognize the difference between the traditions of man, vs the teachings of Jesus Christ. This is a handbook on how to view and interpret Scripture. This is a must have book.

      I left a review for the Kindle version on the Canadian Amazon site. Figures 5.2 and 5.3 are identical (based on the text 5.2 should have been a different image) and at Kindle location 1342 (in the chapter on the Church), there are 2 sentences that say “bothers” instead of “brothers”. I didn’t mention either of those in the review, I just mention them here in case the electronic version can be updated or for the next printing (assuming the printed version has the same errors). Despite all that I enjoyed the book and think it makes a good starting point for either new Christians or those who want to disciple new Christians.
