Yes, they can. But, the question is, is sin IMPUTED to a Christian? Besides, we are dead to sin. We are dead to the law. We died with Christ. Dead people can’t sin. We are alive in the spirit, where the flesh was crucified. See Romans 4, 6, 7, and 1 John 3:9. Sin has no power over us. But, we will sin. It’s just a matter of, will we be charged with sin?

That is actually an interesting thought. I’ll have to get into more of a discussion with him about it.
